The Nikon Monarch ATB binocular tripod adapter allows you to use Monarch ATB, Action, Action EX and other binoculars with a 1/4″-20 threaded socket between the objective lenses upon a tripod. The knurled screwdriver-enabled knob makes attaching while wearing gloves easy, but they also include a thinner allen wrench knob, in case the regular knob interferes with the binocular’s minimum interpupillary distance setting.
This all-metal tripod adapter is also sold under the name Pentax for about the same price, and the name Brunton longer than twice the price! It works well on both my Nikon Monarch 8×42 ATB and Pentax 12X50 PCF WPII my binoculars, but I do not even try, my 20×80 large and heavy on this mountain. The additional small-Allen screw for the narrow space between the roof binoculars some pipes, I had not, but it's nice to have. It screws into the ground, as shown forStorage, but I wish there was another threaded hole on the binoculars to be mounted tripod cover save, so that both are not the screw cap and lost.
Crafted and reasonably priced (if you do not receive the mark Brunton). If you say Binos targets larger than 60 mm mount to plan, you should mount a more serious look, but I can only recommend this for small or standard Binos!
